Hello again...

I'm back. Well, I haven't updated this blog for 4 days because of the tons of things I have to accomplish for school. Ugh! School is really stressing me out. But then, I keep in mind that in 2 months, school will be over-- high school will end and all of the hard work will pay off. So, here are the things that happened within the past few days.

Alaine and I are partners for our CL reflection paper. We started on Monday and finished it yesterday since today is the deadline. We really had a hard time making our paper 3 pages because it is the minimum number of pages so we have no choice. Also, my English groupmates and I finalized our English project which is a powerpoint on logical fallacies. Our group is tasked to show and explain the use of logical fallacies on 3 print ads. Yesterday, we had our Economics quiz and CL short quiz. Today, we had our Trigonometry long test and CL Long quiz.Tomorrow, we will have our Filipino quiz, Physics quiz, P.E. practical test and English test. Damn. 4 test tomorrow.

I just wanted to give myself a breather from all the reviewing I am currently doing. I want to give my brain a rest or else I won't be able to comprehend the things I will reveiw later. :)) And I will also do my Trig homework. So, I hope I will still be able to get some sleep later.

Before I end, I want to share this funny line Ros, my baby sisiter, said a while ago. As I was typing this blog, Ros approached me and asked if she can drink some of my C2. Then I gave her the permission to do so. Before she drunk it, she told me, "I don't like my water kasi it's boring eh." :)))))))))))))))) I wanted to laugh but I wasn't able to because it might hurt her feelings because she is a very sensitive girl. But I found it so cute and humorous. BORING WATER. :))))))))))))

Just want to amuse myself before I return to the torture of reviewing. Ugh.

It's been a while

My last post was January 20 (Tuesday). Today is Saturday so it has been 4 days since my last post. So let me give you a run-down of what happened in the past couple of days.

Wednesday until Friday was our Intramurals. So, no school work whatsoever! :)) However, it was sort of a boring day because we just sat at the sports com then ate, made "chika", watch the game then ate again. It was sort of a routine for us during the 3-day intramurals. During the last day, Friday, the faculty had their exhibition game on Basketball and Volleyball. In Basketball, it was a tie between the blue team (Coach Paul, Coach Emman, Sir de Leon, Sir Dayag, etc.) and the yellow team (Sir Bigs, Sir Keens, Sir Bolanos, Sir Jomar, etc.). The score was 46-46. I wasn't able to watch the volleyball game because people were blocking the view. : Anyway, after the exhibition game came the awarding. The Pink Batch was the over-all champion so Congratulations to them.

Today, my Mom and I went to the UA&P Freshmen Orientation. There were a lot of people and some weren't able to sit during the course of the orientation. Their orientation was excellent. They were very convincing and they were able to explain the necessary points about UA&P vividly. They gave a very impressive discussion on what UA&P is all about, the life of a UA&P student, the education offered in the university, etc. They also gave us a tour around the campus. And I have to stay that the campus was superb. The facilities they have are amazing. It sort of gives you a corporate setting so it was really wonderful. Over all, I think UA&P is a very prestigous university and it would be a privilege to study there and receive a state of the art education.

So on Monday, back to reality again. : I really don't want school to start again. But what can I do? In order for it to end, I have to let it begin, right? :)) Does that even make sense? :))

Oh well, I'll go do my homeworks now. Ugh. :

What A Day

I first went to MC before going to Jonah's house to make our project. The first thing I did was to submit the list Ms. Ines were asking the candidates for the Violet Richardson Award. She was not in the office yet so I decided to roam around the campus. I saw Bianca and Guille and joined them since I have no company. Then I went back to Ms. Ines' office to pass the list. After that, I went to Sir JD but he was talking to a parent so I went to our classroom. I asked Ms. Malvas if I could take a peek at my grades, since it is PTC that is why we did not have classes a while a go. When I saw my grades, I felt my knees became weak. I was super close to being an honor student, but I lacked an A-. :( After seeing my grades, I went to Karen. We went to Sir Dhoi and had a little chat with him. Then I went to Sir JD and listened to classical songs. :)) When Myles arrived, we went to Jonah's house. I was supposed to ride with Guille but because of sime complications, Guille and I rode with Myles instead.

We went to Jonah's house to do our Filipino project which is to write a song, using the tune of any song of our choice, about Chapters 38-40 of Mga Ibong Mandaragit. This was my second day to go to Jonah's house. I went there ysterday to do a different project, T.H.E. this time. Iya, Jonah and I made our products for T.H.E. which we will be selling sometime next week or a week after that. Our product is called "Bunny Buns". It is like a muffin made out of bread and part of it is shaped like bunny ears and at the center are the toppings such as cheese, egg, tuna, etc. Our favorite was the dessert bun which has vanilla ice cream at the center. (YUM!) So anyway, the tune that we used for our Filipino project was the tune of the song by Moonstar 88 entitled Migraine.

After that, we went back to MC. I gave Myles, Paula and Guille a ride back. Then I met up with Karen and Alaine. We went to Mcdo to fetch Kristine then we were dropped off at the LRT Station to go to gateway. We bought our tickets first then ate at Jumbo Japs.

We first watched Bride Wars. It was an awesome movie! Very hilarious as well. The brother of Liz (Kate Hudson) was uber good-looking. :)) Ilene, Christine and Althea were there in the movie house too, but they were seated at the second to the last row. When we went to the comfort room, we saw them again and we also saw Aila and Mommy Pia! :)) After the "reunion", we ate ice cream at Dairy Queen, went to National then to Fully Booked since we still had almost two hours before the screening of the next movie.

The next movie we watched was Bedtime Stories which is a terrific movie. Adam Sandler was amazing. He really knows how to work his craft. Sandler is and will always be the BEST. After the movie, I saw a guy seated in front of us but is seated at the left side. He was waving at me and as I looked closely, it was Kuya Jake! :)) I was surprised to see him there. Because of my excitement, I squealed, "KUYA JAKE!!!!!" It was really funny. Alaine, Karen and Kristine were laughing at me. He greeted me a Happy New Year and I greeted him back.

After the movie, Alaine and I left because we were going to ride the MRT. We skipped the first train because it was already full. The next train was also full but we were able to wedge ourselves in. It was very crowded. I was already leaning to the person beside because it was really snug inside. I was very happy when we arrived North Avenue station. I felt "free". =))

Kuya Cha fetched us at the station then brought Alaine home then I went home.

It was a very exhausting but fun day. The "chikahan" sessions were very unforgettable. :))

Can't wait for the next gimik. ;)

The Violet Richardson Award

I was chatting with my classmate when a blue slip was handed to me. It was a call slip from the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs. I was called to go to the APSA office at recess time. My heart started pounding. I did not know why I was called to the APSA. I thought, "Was there something that I did?" I really became nervous. I was not able to concentrate that much during trig time because of the call slip. How I wished time would fly by and it would be recess already so I can get it over with.

Finally, recess arrived. There was something that we had to do first before we were dismissed so I did it hastily and asked for permission to leave. As I was walking the hallways, my mind was blank. I did not know what to expect because I did not know what will or may happen during my acquaintance with Ms. Ines.

As I reached the office, I was greatly relieved to see Bianx and Maan there. At least I knew this meeting is not only meant for me alone-- I am with someone I am close to. Bianx was the one who got the same colored slip I had. Maan only accompanied her. Bianx and I felt the anxiety gushing through our veins. Waiting for the meeting was really nerve-racking. We were supposed to take our recess first but Ms. Ines already arrived. And so it began.

I thought we were going to talk about somehting club-related since Bianx and I were called and we both belong to the same club. But one batchmate of ours joined the meeting, then comes Reg then another batchmate. Again, I felt nervous.

Ms. Ines told us that she called us because we are candidates for the Violet Richardson Award. The Violet Richardson Award recognizes and honors young women between the ages of 14 and 17 who make the community and world a better place through volunteer efforts such as: fighting drugs, crime, and violence; cleaning up the environment; and working to end discrimination and poverty. Volunteer actions that benefit women or girls are of particular interest. This award is administered by local, participating Soroptimist clubs and is not available in all communities. Soroptimist headquarters does not distribute or accept applications. (http://www.soroptimistspr.org/committees/vra.html)

For a moment, I was like "Are they sure they got the right student?" I could not really understand why I was qualified for this. But then, Ms. Ines said that she consulted our club moderators about this. I still could not believe I am a part for this. I did not really know if I deserve to be given this opportunity. But then, I am thankful for the chance I am given. Perhaps, I was given this shot because they believe I can fulfill what is asked from me and maybe I have done a pretty good job in the past will do more in the future.

So now, all I have to do is create a list on the volunteer works I have engaged in. Good luck to me on that one. :))

The Reason Behind the Birth of my Blogspot

I've always wanted to have a blog, just to have a place where I can throw in my thoughts. I planned on making one last year. But laziness hit me. So the construction got delayed.

But my encephalon got bombarded with my writing... thinking rather. I was "writing" inside my cranium, creating short stories or just my casual ideas about something, since I was too sluggish to concretize those outlines.

So, yesterday I decided to push through on creating a blog. I was having second thoughts at first because I thought that I might not be able to maintain my blog. It might just rot like my previous blogs. But I thought, "This is something that I've always wanted. I want this." So this gave me the motivation to make a blog. It took me 1 day to complete the birth of my blog. Cause of delay: the blog address (http://fortuitousconstruction.blogspot.com) I could not think of an address so I thought I might have an epiphany while I am asleep. But it did not happen. I only came up with an address minutes ago. Since the construction of this blog is a random thought, it was named after it. My blog title, "Reusing Obsolete Thoughts" is the main purpose why I made this blog and this purpose is mentioned earlier. But if you were not seriously reading this entry, I'll just mention it again. The purpose is to "concretize my thoughts trapped in my upper story".

So, this blog is not really meant for other people to read. It is for my own sake actually. It is for me to refresh my memory and create new writings.

But if you happen to begin reading my entry, better read the next entries to come. :)
